SIR EDWARD CODRINGTON (1770-1851) A letter to J. W. Croker at the Admiralty
in which it mentions ‘the boy’s head has caught ringworm and so is not fit’, this likely refers to his son Henry Codrington (1808-1877) who also became an admiral, 18.5cm x 11cm; together with an unrelated signed free front envelope, dated 1837, 8.5cm x 13cm (2)
