Provenance: The Victorian key label is marked “Great Hall Cabinet”. It is shown in a photograph of the Great Hall, circa 1916 and according to family records it was probably purchased for the house by Hubert Hutchings, circa 1873.

In historic country house condition consistent with age and the materials employed.

There is old worming and chips and cracks throughout commensurate with age.

The top is probably a replacement as is the lower shelf (large wedge-shaped split) but the colour match is good.

45cm deep.
