Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.

In historic country house condition consistent with age and the materials employed.

The linen lining of the needlework panel, (which is probably older than the table itself) is damaged and frayed. The colours of the needlework remain strong although there is evidence of degradation and fading. The timber of the table itself is faded and there is evidence of minor damage. The cedar-lined drawer has later Victorian turned-wood handles. The leather writing surface is probably original and it is in good condition overall although there is some splitting, scuffing and other minor damage.
