the later rectangular top with cleated ends and extending sections at either end, over a plain frieze and supported on gadrooned and fluted legs with carved capitals and joined by moulded stretchers, 226cm long (extending to 396cm long) x 89cm wide

Provenance: According to family records this table was owned by Hubert Hutchings of Sandford Orcas Manor in the 19th century.

In historic country house condition consistent with age and the materials employed.

The later top (probably 19th century) was re-varnished in 1980. The lower frame incorporates early elements dating from 1580. There is extensive wear and damage consistent with age.
