With minor losses and wear, particularly to the moulding along the top of the frieze beneath the upholstery, otherwise generally sound and sturdy. The needlework with fading, degradation and holes consistent with age but retaining a charming appearance. With some old repairs which do not detract from the overall appearance of the stool.
