In historic country house condition consistent with age and the materials employed.
The sofa is faded with surface marks/sun bleaching and tears to the loose covers.
Beneath the old covering is apparent and is heavily stained and torn.
The mahogany legs are chipped and rubbed commensurate with age.
The ratchet mechanism to one side is rusted and appears to be working. The other is concealed beneath the covering and has not been tested.
We are unable to remove the outer covering on sofa.
