The brooch is in overall good condition with no signs of damage, heavy wear or repair. The amethysts are both in good condition with no signs of chips or abrasions. Both match well in hue and saturation. Both have deep purple hue with good life to them. Both secure in their settings. Settings are in good condition with no signs of wear. The diamonds are all present and secure in their settings. One diamond has a small chip to the girdle, only visible under x10 loupe. The pin clasp functions well. Tarnish to the silver and light scratches to the gold commensurate with age. Tests as 9ct gold.
