in 18ct gold and silver; both set with a blister pearl to the body, the wings set throughout with rose cut diamonds, and a green, blue and yellow enamelled head, the larger duck set with a ruby cabochon eye, secured with pin clasps, no assay marks, the larger 4.6cm, the smaller 2.4cm, (gross weight - c.16.2g)

The larger brooch is in overall good condition with no signs of heavy damage or repair. The diamonds are all present and in good condition with no signs of chips or abrasions. All secure in their settings. The pearl is in good condition with no signs of abrasions, scratches or wear to the nacre. The pearl has a slightly baroqued shaping with very good lustre. Slightly yellowish under tone. There is one small spot of wear to the enamel by the eye. The ruby is in good condition with no signs of chips or abrasions. Secure in its setting. The gold has no signs of heavy scratches. The clasp functions well. The smaller duck is in overall good condition. One rose cut diamond missing to the wing. The pearl is in good condition with no signs of scratches or wear to the nacre. Also slightly baroque shaping. Secure in its setting. The enamel is in good condition with no signs of damage or repair. The clasp is in good condition and functions well. Only very light scratches to the gold and light tarnish to the silver.
