The item appears to be in largely good condition considering age, there is old woodworm damage visible from behind. There is a large split running the length of the top, as well as numerous smaller warps and cracks to the top. A split to one side panel. The moulding and beading has several splits. Splits to the linings of drawers commensurate with age. Surface wear throughout commensurate with age. The structural and aesthetic quality of the chest on stand has not been compromised.
