UNUSUAL 'PUDDINGSTONE' FAMILLE ROSE VASE, QING OR LATER, of shouldered ovoid form with a flared neck, the body enamelled in polychrome to simulate "pudding-stone" and decorated with two oval panels of magpies perched amidst prunus blossom and quail nesting amidst flowers sprouting from rockwork and bamboo shoots, the shoulders with iron red and gilt dragons mask loop handles and the base painted to simulate lacquer with flowers and scrolls in gilt on a brown ground, the base with a large Qianlong sealmark in gilt on a brown ground, 21cm high.
