A GEORGE II MAHOGANY BREAK-FRONT LIBRARY BOOKCASE in the manner of William Kent, circa 1735, the upper part with triangular broken arched pediment carved with stylised acanthus leaves and bands of "egg and dart" and key pattern dentilling, the entablature carved with a central classical mask from which emanate rays of light on a trellis and rosette ground over four glazed doors with plain rectangular glazing bars, the lower section with a brushing slide over four plain cupboards, on a plinth base carved with scrolling acanthus leaves, shells and ribbons interspersed by rosettes, 100" wide x 103" high x 17" deep
