PAIR OF FAHUA TURQUOISE-GROUND BARREL-SHAPED GARDEN SEATS, MING DYNASTY, 16TH CENTURY decorated with broad central bands showing peafowl amidst peonies and rocks divided by biscuit taotie masks, all between relief bosses, incised cloud clusters and Buddhist emblems, 38cm high Provenance: Rare Art Inc., New York, 11th December 1978.
