signed and dated 1957, plaster bust, 62cm high. Fredda Brilliant (1903-1999) is a world renowned Polish artist, sculptor and actress. During her outstanding career she sculpted some of the most important figures of the 20th century, including President John F. Kennedy and Mahatma Gandhi, the bronze of which is now at the centre of Tavistock Park, London.
