This design celebrates the diverse, colourful and beautiful microscopic organisms that live in our oceans. There are an estimated half a million species, essential to other life on Earth. Highly sensitive to the slightest changes in their environment, they must be protected at all costs. They of course share an awesome beauty with one of the Earth’s largest mammals.

Terry Whitworth has been a professional designer, illustrator and painter for over forty years, specialising in architectural and natural history subjects. He has produced a wide variety of work for clients, both local, national and international. Now semi-retired from a life of commercial artwork, he still has a great enthusiasm for painting and drawing.
