Waves of Emotion
The design is inspired by ideas and suggestions from the patients and relatives from the Wellbeing Sessions at Weldmar. The ‘Waves of emotion’ that wrap around the body represent the ebb and flow of emotions when experiencing grief. Large colourful, abstract shapes adorn the sculpture representing iconography associated with Dorset.

Anissa Lee is an artist and designer who incorporates storytelling and narrative into her work. Anissa has a Foundation Degree in Fashion and a BA (Hons) Surface Pattern Design. Anissa currently works primarily in watercolour and ink but has previously worked creating paper creations for photoshoots and window displays including commissions for Harrods and Brown’s Fashion. As part of the Weldmar Hospicecare Marketing and Communications team, Anissa has led the Art Programme for Stampede by the Sea.
