A FINE CHINESE WHITE JADE TEAPOT AND COVER

of large size, the simple domed cover with a pierced finial intricately carved with fungi and leafy tendrils, the bulbous body with a simple spout and a scroll handle, the extremely pure whitish/pale celadon stone with a soft polish, the base carved with the four-character mark of Qianlong, 19cm wide (max) x 12,5cm high

Provenance: From a Dutch private collection acquired in the 1980's

Appears in extremely good condition overall, with no signs of damage or restoration, the jade is a very good colour. There is some minor knocks to the interior rim of the lid (please see additional images)
