A VERY RARE 'ONB' FASCIST ITALIAN YOUTH FLAG PENNANT.
The obverse of the flag features a fascist symbol and ONB in gold braid with three smaller badges, one being the emblem of Mussolini. The reverse in the tricolour flag of Italy.

'ONB' Opera Nazionale Balilla. The organisation existed between 1926 to 1937, when it was amalgamated into the Gioventù Italiana del Littorio 'GIL', the leading Italian Fascist youth league.

A very rare piece in excellent condition.

VICTORIAN ARMY LSGC
Correctly impressed 257 Pte M Stemp 96th Foot.

Condition VF

Maurice Stemp was born in Crawley in 1839. he attested on the 24th of February 1858, joining the 96th Foot (West Suffolk).

During the course of his service, he served just under two years in the Cape of Good Hope and over four years in the East Indies. Having risen to the rank of Corporal, he was stripped of his rank for being AWOL for one day from 17th to 18th August 1867. He was never promoted again but was awarded the LSGC.
Stemp was discharged on 20th February at Manchester in 1879. He died in 1883.

David Henry Allen was born in Sparkebrook, Birmingham, in 1859. He attested on the 5th of June at Loughborough.

He saw service in the Afghanistan campaign from the 20th of January 1879 to the 16th of August 1879. The medal is confirmed on the rolls and in his papers.

Allen was discharged in 1882.

John Hamilton was born in Govan, Glasgow, in 1848. He attested on 8th February 1867 at Glasgow.

Hamilton served in Afghanistan from 3rd December 1878 until 8th June 1879 and again from Christmas Eve 1879 until 20th June 1880. His service papers and roll confirm his entitlement to the medal.

He was discharged on 22nd September 1886 due to Lumbago at Belfast.
