In historic country house condition consistent with age and the materials employed.
The gilt tooled green leather appears to be original and is worn and stained in an attractive manner. There is some evidence of worm activity in the leather. The handles appear to be original but the dummy drawers have had the original handles removed and the holes filled. These could be reinstated. In overall terms the table is in good condition with wear and damage consistent with age. The centre of the top has a circular aperture which passes all the way through the column. The origin and purpose of this is unknown.
The drum table is oblong in shape.
