thanking the passengers for their support and donations following the news of the Titanic, 20.5cm x 13cm

Provenance: Edwin Thomas Mills, born in Hatfield Essex, who married Caroline Edith Mason on the 16th of April 1908 at The Holy Trinity Church, Hatfield Heath, and died in 1920. Edwin was a Captain's steward and missed sailing on the Titanic but went to her aid on the sister ship, the Olympic. This notice has been passed down by descent and is now offered by Edward's Granddaughter.
